Triple crown for Sikki, Gurusai and Arundati u-19 champs

Chennai, May 31 (UNI)R M V Gurusai Dutt of Andhra Pradesh and Arundati Pantawane of Maharahstra won the boy's and girls singles under-19 titles in the 17th Krishna Khaitan Memorial All India Junior Badminton tournament here today.

In the final, third seeded Gursai Dutt defeated his statemate B Sumeet Reddy 21-15, 21-14, while top seeded Arundati put water on Sikki Reddy's (AP) hopes of winning four titles, with a business-like 21-17, 21-11 win to bag the title.

It turned out to be a rewarding day for Sikki Reddy who won a treble winning both the girls under-16 singles and doubles titles and the under-19 girls doubles.

The keenness in the early part of the first game, soon fadded as Arundati played a steady game throughout and emerged the deserving winner.
