Towers Club Announce All India Open Snooker Tournament In Chennai; Format, Prize Pool, Top Players In Fray

Towers Club has announced hosting the All India Open Snooker Tournament 2024 in Chennai. The national-level tournament is being organised under the patronage of The Tamil Nadu Billiards and Snooker Association (TNBSA).

The All India Open Snooker Tournament will kick off on March 18, 2024, and guarantees an enthralling experience, with a limited entry of 120 players.

The tournament organisers will host a press meet on March 15 at 9 am, which will be hosted by Towers Club. The distinguished President, Dr Kalanidhi Veerasamy (Member of Parliament), will address the audience regarding the forthcoming "Towers Club - All India Open Snooker Tournament."

• Stage 1: Qualifying Stage - Best of 5 frames, with 32 players advancing to the main draw.
• Stage 2: Main Draw - Top 32 seeded players clash with qualifiers in matches contested over the best of 7 frames till the quarter-finals. The semi-finals and the final match will witness action over the best of 9 frames.

All India Open Snooker Tournament Prize Money

• Total Prize Money: Rs 6,40,000.
• Cash Prizes: Awarded to winners, runners-up, semi-finalists, quarter-finalists, pre-quarter finalists, top 32 finallists, qualifiers, and highest break achievers.
