Torres vows not to let Spain down again

London, Jun 21 (ANI): Putting aside speculation surrounding his Liverpool future, ace striker Fernando Torres has vowed not to let Spain down at the World Cup.

Torres was stunned by the 1-0 loss to Switzerland, but insisted that it will not happen again against the Honduras today.

"It was a shock, but it is a very long time since Spain lost two consecutive games, and that will help raise morale," The Sun quoted him, as saying.orres has been linked with a summer move to Barcelona, especially now that Rafa Benitez has left Anfield for Inter Milan.

"Rafa has been the most important manager in my career, but our futures are no longer linked," he said. (ANI)
