Top seed Sonia Dayal sent packing by Olga Blank of Israel

Mumbai, Dec 13 (UNI) Top seed Sonia Dayal of India was sent packing in straight sets by sixth seed Olga Blank of Israel 7-6(4), 6-4 in biggest upset in the third round of the MSLTA-ITF junior tennis tournament, at the Dr G K Ranade tennis centre courts here today.

Sonia, who was on a roll till Wednesday, went off the boil after leading 5-2 in the first set and later said, she was sick and could not play with the same energy as before.

''I was feeling really sick in the morning and did not have the physical strength to play even though my mind had other thoughts,'' she said.

Earlier, India's Rashmi Teltumbde surprised the Azerbaijani fifth seed Alieva Sevil 7-5, 6-0 to advance to the third round.
