Top players to take part in SPA Classic squash

Mumbai, July 18 (UNI) The country's leading players will feature in the 1st SPA Classic Squash Championship, sponsored by Patel Retail and SRFI, that will be held at the Otters Club, Bandra from August 8 to 12.

The championship, being organised under the aegis of the Squash Rackets Federation of India, will include three categories -- for Men, Professionals and Over-35.

The total prize money for the tourney will be Rs 3.7 lakh, with the Men's winner earning Rs 70,000 and runner-up Rs 50,000, a release issued here today stated.

The Professional winner will earn Rs 40,000, while the runner-up will receive Rs 25,000, the release added.
