Top juniors for DHFL-SPA squash

Mumbai, Mar 4 (UNI) Leading juniors, Akash Borwankar and Rishabh Kotian, will feature in the DHFL-Just Kids Squash Championship, organized by the Squash Professional Association, at the Otters Club, Bandra from March 7 to 9.

The categories for boys and girls include, Under-15, Under-13, Under-11 and Under-9.

The boys Under-15 will feature top juniors Akash Borwankar and Rishabh Kotian, the Under-13 has Raghav Mehrotra and Ishaan Advani, while Yohan Surti will feature in the boys Under-11 and little dynamo Ben Kennedy, son of former England player Mandy Kennedy, is the boys Under-9 top seed.

''This is the Squash Professional Association's bid to encourage young players. Hence we are focusing on these categories. We have over 200 entries that includes a remarkable 40 in the Under-9 category, which is a reflection of the sports development at the grass roots,'' SPA director Neeta Anand said here today.

U-13: Boys: 1. Raghav Mehrotra, 2. Ishaan Advani; Girls: 1.

Aishwarya Kulkarni, 2. Yashna Shetty.

U-11: Boys: 1. Yohan Surti, 2. Rajat Agarwal; Girls: 1. Aishwarya Bhattacharya, 2. Raina Kishanchandani.

U-9: Boys: 1. Ben Kennedy, 2. Divan Philip; Girls: 1. Aditi Raheja, 2. Isha Agarwal.
