Thailand to miss Paradorn for first time in eight years

BANGKOK, Jan 30 (Reuters) Paradorn Srichaphan will miss a Thai Davis Cup match for the first time in eight years, local media reported today.

The 27-year-old will be absent from the Thailand team which plays Taiwan over Feb. 9-11 due to a recurring wrist tendinitis problem.

Paradorn will have medical treatment in Bangkok and hopes to be fit for the Masters Series tournament at Indian Wells in March, local radio reported.
