TFI to conduct Asian Junior Taekwondo Championship 2008

Visakhapatnam, Jan 20 (UNI) The Taekwondo Federation of India (TFI) Secretary General T Praveen Kumar today said the 2008 Asian Junior Taekwondo Championship would be conducted here.

Addressing a press conference, he said India is home to most talented lot in the teakwondo disciplined. The coaching camp for probables would be conducted in summer in the steel city, he added.

He informed that under the guidance of two coaches from South Korea, National Coaching Camps would be conducted here.

The ITF would try for atleast one medal in the 18th World Taekwondo Championship at China (Bejing) in May 2007.
