Tata Indicom organises car rally for motor enthusiasts

Patna, Apr 29 (UNI) Tata Indicom in association with Magadh Motor Sports Club is set to host a car rally on May 3 and 4.

Addressing a press conference here today, Chief Operation Officer(COO), Bihar circle, Z M Siddique, said the ''Tata Indicom Go Power rally'' will be flagged off from Patna on May 3 by Vivek Singh, Secretary, Department of sports youth and culture Government of Bihar.

The theme for the rally this year is ''rediscovering Bihar'' and there would be 25 participating teams in this mega event covering an approximate distance of 500 km for the coveted trophy Mr Siddique said adding the maximum average speed will be 45 to 50 km per hour.

''It will be a time-speed-distance format rally with every car being flagged off at two minutes intervals,'' the COO informed.

Announcing the event, Mr Siddique said ''we are extremely happy to be a part of this annual event which promote sports in a big way''.

''This is for the second consecutive year that we are sponsoring this car rally which is in its third edition of annual episode,'' he added.
