Net Ball: Tamil Nadu trounce Karnataka
Coimbatore, Sep 8: Defending champions Tamil Nadu began their campaign on a winning note defeating Karnataka 24-14 in the league of the 12th South Zone Women's Netball championship for the Raj Ranga Trophy here today.
Karnatakas' Sahana Savithri exhibited good resistance against Tamil Nadu and scored 12 points. Karnataka were leading till half time with the score 13-8.
However, Tamil Nadu fought back through Priya who scored 13 points.
