Tamil Nadu conferred 'fairplay' trophy
Chennai, Jan 2: The 'fairplay" trophy the only prize that is given to the best performer in the AIFF under-14 girls" National Football Festival that ended at the Hindustan University Campus was conferred to Tamil Nadu on Thursday, Jan 1.
Tamil Nadu beat Bengal 8-2 in the last match in the second phase to clinch the trophy. The team led 5-2 in the first half.
