Surjit Academy to clash with Sangrur in Punjab League final

Ludhiana, Jan 28 (UNI) Strong contenders Surjit Hockey Academy of Jalandhar will meet Sangrur Hockey Academy in the final of the Western Union Punjab Hockey League for Under-16 tomorrow.

This tournament is being conducted by the Punjab Sports Department at the Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) Astroturf Stadium here.

In the semi final today Surjit Hockey Academy edged out stubborn PAU Hockey Academy of Ludhiana 3-1 after leading 2-1 at half time. Sangrur Hockey Academy ended the challenge of Ranjit Hockey Academy of Amritsar by 4-1 after playing one-all draw in the first session in the other semi-final.
