'Sunfeast World 10K' to be held on May 18

Bangalore, Apr 20 (UNI) Procam International, promoters of the Sunfeast World 10K Bangalore, today announced that the event would be held on May 18 as May 25, the original date, coincided with the counting of votes in Karnataka.

''We are committed to deliver a world class event to Bangalore.

We are in the process of finalising some of the leading distance and track athletes from around the world for the World 10K. We will encourage people of the entire city to register for the 'Open 10K' and the Majja Run,'' Vivek B Singh, Joint Managing Director, Procam International, said in a release here.

The organising body also announced 'Bangalore Cares' as the 'Official Charity Partner' for the event and 'Harmony For Silvers Foundation' as the 'Institution Partner.' About 2,000 senior citizens were expected to participate in the event.
