Sunfeast Junior golf championship to begin in Coimbatore tomorrow

New Delhi, June 4 (UNI) India's top junior golfers will be seen in action at the Sunfeast Southern India Junior and Sub-Junior Golf Championship which tees off at the par-72 Coimbatore Golf Club here tomorrow.

The tournament, to be staged from June 5 to June 8, will witness leading junior golfers like Rahul Bakshi, Amanjyot Singh, Rashid Khan, K Raghav Bhandari, Rommel Majumdar, Chikkarangappa, Ashbeer Saini, Rahul Ravi, Akash Srinivasn and Master Honey among others fighting it out in four different categories of the tournament which forms the third leg of the Sunfeast junior and sub-junior golf tour.

Category 'A' will include golfers in the age group of 15-17 years, while Category 'B' will feature those in the 13-14 age bracket, whereas 11-12 year-olds will feature in category 'C' and 10 and below will fight it out at category 'D', a release stated.
