Steve Waugh's company delegation meets Modi

Ahmedabad, July 18 (UNI) A delegation of Milestone Community, promoted by former Australian cricketer Steve Waugh, today met Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi and mooted a proposal for setting up of Global Sports and Education Community Complex.

Impressed by the magnitude with which Gujarat is attracting global investment, Waugh placed this project before the Chief Minister.

The project envisages infrastructural development of sports with health and education.

Among those present in the meeting included Principal Secretary (industries) D Rajgopalan, Principal Secretary (urban development) S R Rao and Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister K Kailasnath.
