Sri Lankan team to arrive in Mumbai on February 2

Mumbai, Jan 19 (UNI) The Sri Lankan cricket team will arrive in Mumbai on February 2 and is scheduled to play four one day internationals against India as a warm-up to the World Cup.

The first one-dayer will be played in Pune on February 8, and rest in Rajkot, Margaon and Vishakhapattnam on February 11, 14 and 17 respectively.

The Sri Lanka team will have practice sessions in Mumbai on February 3 and 4 and a warm-up match on February 5, a Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) release here today said.

The details of the warm-up match would be made available later, the release said.

Following is the 15-member Sri Lankan squad: Mahela Jayawardene (Capt), Kumar Sangakkara, Sanath Jayasuriya, Upul Tharanga, Marvan Atapattu, Russel Arnold, T M Dilshan, Chamara Silva, Malinga Bandara, Upul Chandana, F Maharoof, Lasith Malinga, Nuwan Zoysa, Dilhara Fernando and Nuwan Kulasekara.

Among the eight-member officials who will be accompanying the team are Michael Tissera (Manager), Tom Moody (Coach), Trevor Penney (assistant Coach), Tommy Simsek (Physiotherapist), and C J Clark (Trainer).
