Special passport court for women

Jalandhar, Feb 20 (PTI) The regional passport officehere will organise a special passport court for women onInternational Women''s Day to hear their grievances regardingdelay in issuance of passports.



The hearing will be held on March 8 at the passportoffice here from 10 am to 5 pm, Jalandhar passport officerParneet Singh said today.



The court will also hear the complaints received byWomen''s Grievances Redressal Cell, which has been recentlyconstituted by the the passport office.



The applicants who wish to bring their grievances tothe special court are required to register themselves byFebruary 28, Singh said.
