Sinimole awarded by J'khand govt, gets offer from Railway

Ranchi, Jan 14 (UNI) In recognition of her feat, Doha Asiad Bronze medal winner in 1500 meter race Sinimole Paulose has been rewarded with Rs five lakh by the Jharkhand government besides a job offer from the Railway.

Talking to UNI here Sinimole today said she had got an infomal offer from the Railway which is still at the initial stage.

She only hoped that the Railway would consider her educational qualification besides tally of medals in her kitty before taking final decision on her recruitment.

Sinimole, who also bagged a gold in the athletics meet in Bangkok recently, said she would like to join Railway if her merit was not undermined.

Meanwhile, Railway sources said they heard the athelete's demands and would consider them before arriving at a decision.

Yesterday, Jharkhand Sports Minister handed over a cheque of Rs five lakh to her.
