Shria, Aishwarya enter quarters of Squash tourney

Mumbai, Feb 7 (PTI) Third seed Shria Khatri and eighthseed Aishwarya Nambiar entered the quarter finals of thegirls under-19 event of the ISP-Minute Maid Squash Carnivaljointly hosted by Khar and Juhu Vile Parle Gymkhanas today.

Shria made a slow start before getting the better ofMaanvi Chopra 15-13 11-2, while Aishwarya romped her way pastAraiana Kewalramani in the 100th tournament organised byIndian Squash Professionals.

In men''s first round action, Laxman Joshi began hiscampaign with a 11-7 11-7 win over Chirag Shah, while WaqarPathan dropped a game before getting past qualifier SachinUgade 11-9 6-11 12-10.
