Shooting: Rudrankksh Patil Clinches 10m Air Rifle Gold At Kumar Surendra Singh Memorial Shooting Championship

Maharashtra’s Rudrankksh Balasaheb Patil won the 10m Air Rifle Men ISSF gold at the 24th Kumar Surendra Singh Memorial Shooting Championship. The event is being staged at the Madhya Pradesh State Shooting Academy in Bhopal. Rudrankksh topped the final with 252.9 to take first place.

Haryana’s Rohit Kanyan earned silver with 251.9, while West Bengal’s Baiduriya Biswas took bronze with 230.8. Uttar Pradesh’s Karamjeet Singh placed fourth after scoring 209.6 in the final. The medals decided a close finish among the top two shooters.

Rudrankksh Patil wins 10m Air Rifle gold

Delhi’s Paarth Makhija led qualification with 633.4. Railways shooter Shahu Tushar Mane followed on 630.0. Gujarat’s Gajjar Krish Jigneshbhai qualified third with 627.8. Rudrankksh Patil entered the final in fourth place after shooting 627.7.

In the 10m Air Rifle Junior Men event, West Bengal’s Ashmit Chatterjee secured the title. Ashmit shot 251.0 in the final to finish first. Uttar Pradesh’s Piyush Sharma won silver with 250.5. Rohit Kanyan added junior bronze for Haryana with 229.1.

The junior qualification round was led by Piyush Sharma with 631.7. Ashmit Chatterjee advanced in second with 631.1. Rohit Kanyan stood third on 630.4. Karamjeet Singh qualified fourth with 629.9, before finishing fourth in the final.

10m Air Rifle at Kumar Surendra Singh Memorial Shooting Championship: Youth men results

West Bengal’s Abhinav Shaw won the 10m Air Rifle Youth Men title with 254.4 in the final. Haryana’s Priyanshu claimed silver after shooting 249.7. Haryana’s Jatin Lamba took bronze with 228.1. Rohit Kanyan finished fourth on 207.1.

Haryana’s Pranav Jindal paced youth qualification with 626.1. Haryana’s Krish Kumar followed closely on 626.0. Rajasthan’s Nemi Chand Dudi qualified third with 625.9. Uttar Pradesh’s Jyotiraditya Gosain took the fourth spot with 625.7.

Other events also produced winners across team and special categories. Uttar Pradesh won the 10m Rifle Men Team gold with 1885.6. West Bengal finished second on 1884.9, and Maharashtra placed third with 1884.5. The championships also held sub-youth, master, deaf, and prone events.
