Shooting championshp in Goa from August 30

Panaji, Aug 23 (UNI) Ahead of the proposed National Games 2011 in the state, the Rifle Shooting Association of Goa will hold a state shooting championship at Peddem Indoor stadium from August 30.

In the meeting of the state Shooting Association, held under the chairmanship of president Shripad Naik (MP), a resolution was also moved to congratulate Abhinav Bhindra for his individual gold medal at the Beijing Olympics.

The meeting also expressed the need for procuring the latest training equipment and a proper shooting range for the state shooters to practice.
