Shastri promises 'no mercy' for Bangladesh

Dhaka, May 12 (UNI) India's Cricket Manager Ravi Shastri said Bangladesh should not expect any mercy from the visitors as they were now aiming at a clean sweep of the series at Chittagong.

India have already bagged the three match ODI series 2-0 with a 46-run win today. They had earlier won the first ODI by five wickets.

Talking to the media after India's emphatic win today, Shastri said, ''We are aiming at a 3-0 result. So there will be no let up.

Don't expect any mercy from us.'' Shastri called it a proud moment at the way India showed character under tough conditions to bag the series.

''It is a proud moment for us. Chittagong is another one-day game for us and we are keyed up to face the challenge,'' the former India skipper said.

''The boys are giving everything. They are working very hard.

There is tough cricket ahead and the boys are aware of it,'' Shastri quipped.

Talking about the Bangladesh side, he said, ''Perhaps no one has watched Bangladesh more closely than me over the last few years. And I am happy to see the kind of improvement they have done over the last seven odd years. They are bursting with talents.'' Continuing on the same topic he said, ''I have identified at least five players who are very talented. They are a superb fielding side also.'' UNI
