Shaibles Sable, Smita Kamble win open sight air rifle event

Mumbai, May 9 (UNI) Shailesh Sable (Aurangabad) and Smita Kamble (Thane) topped in the men and women's section of the open sight Air Rifle event in the 11th Captain Ezekiel Memorial Maharashtra Shooting Championship 2007, which got underway at the MRA shooting range Worli here today.

Shailesh Sable had an aggregate score 287/400 and Smita Kamble who shot the best score of the day, had 325/400.

Amongst the men Mayur Jobanputra (Mumbai) shot 313 best, while pocketing the Juniors' title, Prathamesh Sonsurkar (242) and Pooja Dalvi (297) were the winners in the sub-juniors, while Meenakshi Doshi with a score of 284 won the Junior Women's title.
