Services boxers dominate ring, enter finals
Chennai, July 12 (UNI) Pugilists from Services and their archrivals Railways dominated the ring en route to men's final of the SRM Federation Cup Boxing Championship here today.
As the contests became more intriguing with the boxers fighting hard till the last minute, rains played spoilsport and halted the proceedings.
While M Zawhly in Light fly weight and Komal Yadav (bantam) of Services won their respective semifinal bouts, Manwar Hussain of Railway entered the light fly weight final before Jharkhand's Inderkumar Singh derailed the Railway's party with an upset win over J Sandeep to enter the Bantam weight final.
It was a touch and go affair as Inder failed to land his punches.
