Sensei Rajesh Thakkar's Karate-Do training

Mumbai, Dec 7 (UNI) Sensei Rajesh Thakkar, 6th Dan, Chief Instructor, Rajesh Thakkar's Martial Arts Academy, will be conducting the 48th Winter Karate-Do training Camp for all Karate lovers at Treat Resort, Silvassa, from December 26 to 29.

Over 200 karate students from Mumbai, Pune, Nasik, Surat and Bhavnagar are expected to participate in this camp that will lay focus on the classical aspects of training namely, Kihon (basics), Kata (form), Bunkai (application of Kata), Ippon Kumite (one step sparring), Makiwara (bagwork), Shiai Kumite (sports karate), Pool training as well as colour and black belt exams, a media release stated here today.

For the first time there will also be a ''Wellness Workshop - Stretch Your Limits'' open to all adults above 30 years of age.

Participants will be given a first hand experience of learning fitness through Karate techniques including practical self defense training.

Sensei Rajesh Thakkar will be assisted in the camp and workshop by Jayesh Somaiya, Gospi Capadia, Ashok Wadhawana, Anil Kadam, Bahadur Rawal, Jeetendra Jaiswal, Mayank Malavia, Roopchand Chaurasia and Punit Shah, the release added.
