Senior National Volleyball to be held in Jaipur

Jaipur, Nov 3 (UNI) The Rajasthan Volleyball Association (RVA) would organise the Senior National Volleyball Championships in the pink city from December 23 to January 1,2008 at the Sawai Man Singh Stadium.

RVA president Anil Choudhary said that after four decades the Senior National Volleyball Championships would be held in Rajasthan.

Earlier, it had been organised at Udaipur.

He said that 30 and 29 teams would take part in the men and women section respectively. As many as 1200 players and officials would be seen in action. The matches would be live telecast of pre-quarter finals to final. Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje would be chief patron of the tournament, he added.
