Selection trials for national adventure programme

Panaji, Aug 25 (UNI) The Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs will conduct state-level selection trials on August 30 at Youth Hostel, Miramar in Goa, for selection of the best 25 participants, both boys and girls, for the National Adventure Programme to be held from October 5 to 11 at Panchmari in Madhya Pradesh.

The adventure programme includes Trekking, Boating, Horse Riding, Rack Climbing, Rappelling, Rifle Shooting, Pistol Shooting, Archery, and Skating.

All youths in the age group of 12 to 45 years, who are medically and physically fit to withstand strain of trekking for 12 to 20 Kms per day, are eligible to attend the selection trials, according to an official release here today.
