Saurab, Sharon, Mohit, Ankita emerge winners

Chennai, Sep 7 (UNI) Saurab Singh of Delhi and Sharon S Paul of Tamil Nadu annexed the Boy's and Girls Under-16 titles, respectively in the Chennai leg of the Good Earth Super Series tennis tournament here today.

Saurab Singh defeated Digvijay Singh of Himachal Pradesh 7-5, 7-5, while Sharon S Paul, after losing the Under-14 title to Ankita, fought back from the brink to deprive her rival of a grand double with a 4-6, 6-2, 7-6(2) hard fought win.

In the Under-14 section, Ankita Raina of Gujarat bagged the Girl's and Mohit Mayur of Tamil Nadu the Boy's title respectively.

Earlier, Ankita beat Sharon 6-2, 6-2, while Mohit Mayur thrashed Digvijay Singh 6-3, 6-3 for the titles.
