Saimeera, Swati favourites to win Nationals

Hyderabad, May 20 (UNI) Defending Champion Sai Meera Ravi of Banking Sports Board and Swati Mohoto of West Bengal are favourites to win the National Women-B Chess Championship commencing here tomorrow.

According to organisers the eleven-round Swiss league format will conclude on May 28. 120 entries were expected from all over the country.

Important players like Sai Meera Ravi, Priya and Uttara (BSB), Swati Mohoto, Pallavi Rai (West Bengal), Ramya Krishna, Chaitanya (Andhra Pradesh), Sravya, Priya (Delhi), Mithali, Pranali (Maharastra), Shruti, Manasa (Karnataka), Bindu Sarita, Rajya Lakshmi (LIC), besides International medal winners Bhavana, Pratyusha and Chandana Priya were expected to participate in the tournament.

UNI
