SAIL to establish sports academy at par with TFA: Paswan

Ranchi, Sep 24 (UNI) Union Steel Minister Ramvilas Paswan today said Steel Authority India Ltd (SAIL) would set up a sports academy that of a Tata Football Academy (TFA) for promotion of sports and games in Jharkhand.

Talking to reporters here, Paswan said the state had no dearth of talents and therefore the steel major has decided to estbalish such academy.

Mr Paswan said company would also take the support of India's ODI captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni in this regard.

''We hope that the star cricketer would definitely extend his support for this cause'', Paswan said.

He also said the SAIL would be fortunate to make Dhoni as its brand ambassador.

''I am not aware about the procedures of making brand ambassadors and would ask the Chairman to look forwrad in this direction'' Paswan added.
