Royal Mewar win Cartier International Polo
Singapore, June 18 (UNI) India's Royal Mewar won the Cartier International Polo Tournament here beating the Singapore Polo Club 7 to 4-1/2 in a five-chukka match.
Lokendra Singh Rathore, a four goal polo player himself, led the Royal Mewar team to win the Cartier's prestigious and coveted Le Maillet d'Or trophy.
Satinder Garcha captained the host team.
The Maharana of Udaipur, Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar, was the guest of honour at the event yesterday.
