Rooney, Villa likely to win Golden Boot: Luis Fabiano

London, June 3 (ANI): Brazilian striker Luis Fabiano has named contemporaries Wayne Rooney and David Villa as probables for the coveted Golden Boot that commemorates the highest goal-scorer of the FIFA World Cup (WC).

While Fabiano hopes to make some goals of his own, he believes that there will be no stopping the formidable Rooney and gifted Spaniard Villa in this year's WC.

"Rooney and Villa are players that can fight for the Golden Boot. Lionel Messi will also score a lot of goals, and I hope to be among them as well," The Sun quoted Fabiano, as saying.

German Miroslav Klose had won himself the Golden Boot in the last edition of the WC by scoring five goals through the tournament. (ANI)
