Rommel Mazumdar in sole lead at Sunfeast Northern India championsh

Lucknow, July 3 (UNI) Rommel Mazumdar shot a level par 72 to grab the sole lead in Category 'A' of the Sunfeast Northern India Junior/Sub Junior Golf Championship here today.

Jaipur's Amanjyot Singh and five others were one stroke behind the leader at joint second with a card of 73 at par 72 Maulibagh Environment Park and Training Area golf course.

Samrat Basu led the pack in category 'B' with one-over 73, followed by Jaipur's Hemendra Choudhary (74) while Trishul Chinappa was a further stroke behind in third place at 75.

In Category 'C', N Viju Sarin carded a round of 80 to take the lead while Abhishek Kuhar was a further stroke behind in second place at 81. Rahul Ravi was third with 82.
