Reunion with ex-wife may save Warnie cool $ 4 million
Sydney, Jan 30 (UNI) Wonder what Shane Warne's script writer has in mind but the master leg spinner stands to save a cool four million dollar if he decides to reconcile with ex-wife Simone Callahan.
New pictures of a family holiday in Fiji show the couple enjoying cosy moments together at a luxury resort, indicating a reunion of sorts, according to a report in 'Herald Sun'.
It follows a night alone on James Packer's yacht on Sydney Harbour.
Divorce lawyers settled on the seven-figure payout after the collapse of the pair's marriage in mid-2005, sources close to the champion cricketer revealed yesterday.
The controversial leggie had declared in a TV interview after his Test retirement this month that he still loved Simone.
Although Warne's reputation as a husband stands shattered after his numerous affairs but the 'Dad' in him might sail him through.
The blonde cricketer had said in the interview, ''I mightn't be the best husband but I'm a good dad, and if we can all work that out together and make that work, great.'' However, it will be interesting to see whether Ms Simone will 'follow' Warne to England when he reports for duty in April for his two-year stint with English county side Hampshire.
The county season lasts for five months and Ms Callahan is believed to have investigated schools for their three kids there.
Warne already owns a house and a car near the cricket club's headquarters at Southampton.
Despite their separation, the couple have continued to live together at their multi-million-dollar Brighton mansion.
