Rehhagel sticks to regulars for Spain
ATHENS, Aug 17 (Reuters) Greece coach Otto Rehhagel has resisted the temptation to experiment with his squad as the German named a largely unchanged 22 for next week's friendly against Spain in Thessaloniki today.
Panionios defender Nikos Spyropoulos is the only uncapped player in the squad, although Olympiakos Pireaus central defender Paraskevas Antzas has earned a recall for the August 22 game.
Bolton's Stelios Giannakopoulos and Ioannis Amanatidis of Eintracht Frankfurt miss out because of injuries.
The game is being played as a testimonial for former captain Theodoros Zagorakis who led Greece to victory at Euro 2004.
It will be played at the Toumba Stadium in Thessaloniki, home of Super League club PAOK, where Zagorakis is now president.
