Rathore wins equestrian gold in individual dressage

Jamshedpur, Feb 18 (PTI) Madhya Pradesh''s Mritunjoy SinghRathore won the gold medal in the individual dressage event ofequestrian at the 34th National Games at Gopal Maidan heretoday.

Rathore clinched the gold with a total of 65.27 pointswhile ex-armyman Gulab Singh of Delhi grabbed the silver with62.66 points and captain Dannis Switten of Services won thebronze with 61.61 points.

Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda and his wife MeeraMunda gave away the prizes to the winners.

Services and Madhya Pradesh were leading the medals tallyin equestrian with two gold and one silver each.
