Railways skittle out Karnataka, settle out for draw

Bangalore, Nov 6 (UNI) Indian Railways took honours gaining two points from first innings lead against Karnataka in the four-day Elite group B tie for Ranji Trophy that ended in a draw here today.

As expected, Railways took a crucial 24 run first innings lead and later dismissed the hosts to a paltry 138 in their second knock.

But time ran out as they had only a few overs to make 115 for win. Railways finished at 11 for two in the second innings.
