Rahul Dravid celebrates 35th birthday

Rajkot, Jan 11 (UNI) Indian cricket captain Rahul Dravid today celebrated his 35th birthday alongwith mediapersons and Ranji players at the Madhavrao Stadium here, the venue for the Super League Ranji match between Saurashtra and Karnataka.

At lunch break, Dravid cut the cake in the presence journalists from electronic, local and print media. Players from both the Ranji teams and BCCI Secretary Niranjan Shah also participated in the celebrations.

The Indian skipper is representing Karnataka in the match.

Meanwhile, the selectors -- Bhupendir Singh (Sr- North Zone), V Raju (South Zone), R Biswal (East Zone), S Jagdal (Central Zone) and BCCI Selection Committee Chairman Dilip Vengsarkar will arrive here tonight, for the Selection Committee meet to be held tomorrow, to select the 30 probables for World Cup and the team for first two one-dayers against the West Indies.
