Punjab government promotes 22 coaches
Chandigarh, Apr 30 (UNI) The Punjab Government has promoted 22 junior coaches to group C in the pay scale of Rs 5800-9200, according to Sports Minister Gulzar Singh Ranike.
The Minister had recently announced that the Sports Department would be soon recruiting 169 junior coaches and other staff. A large number of coaches are required to be immediately posted in sports wings/coaching centres/academies being run by the Department.
Those who were promoted are: Kuldip Singh (boxing), Talwinder Pal Singh (cricket), Ravinder Kahlon (handball), Karam Singh (boxing), Jagtar Singh (gymnastic), Gurcharan Singh (handball), Subhash Devgan (cricket), Jiuna Khan (weightlifting), Surjit Singh (swimming), Mahinderjit Singh (football), Palwinder Kaur (kabaddi), Jog Raj (cricket), Kartar Singh (badminton), Sunil Kumar (rifle shooting), Ravinder Singh (kho-kho), Harpaljit Singh (cricket), Gurlal Singh (swimming), Hapreet Singh (boxing), Balwinder Singh (swimming), Paramjit Singh (hockey), Narinder Kaur (gymnastics) and Harbans Singh (kabaddi).
