Punjab Basketball League at Sujanpur

Chandigarh, Nov 10 (UNI) The Punjab Annual Basketball League (Second Leg) Tournament for senior men and women will be held from November 11 to 14 at Surjapur in Ludhiana district.

Five men teams--Border Security Force, Jalandhar, Punjab Police, Jalandhar, PSEB, Patiala, DMW, Patiala and Rest of Punjab and five women teams--Jalandhar District, Ludhiana District, Kapurthala District, Gurdaspur District and Amritsar District teams will be taking part in the league. The matches will be played on Round Robin League basis.

The league has assumed greater significance as probables for Punjab senior men and women players for the forth coming Senior National Basketball Championship will be selected on the basis of the performance of the players in the annual league.

In the first leg of the annual league held at Gure, Ludhiana District, BSF, Jalandhar in men section and Jalandhar in women section finished first in their respective sections.
