President congratulates wrestler Sushil Kumar
New Delhi, Aug 20 (UNI) President Pratibha Devisingh Patil today congratulated Sushil Kumar on winning the Olympic bronze medal in Beijing, defeating Kazakhstan's Leonid Spiridonov in the 66kg category of the freestyle wrestling competition.
Sushil Kumar created history as it was 56 years ago at the Helsinki Olympics India won its only medal, bronze, in wrestling when K D Yadav came third in the same category.
