President arrives in city to inaugurate WMG

Hyderabad, Oct 14 (UNI) President of India, Pratibha Patil arrived here this afternoon by a special IAF flight from Nagpur to inaugurate the fourth World Military Games commencing from today.

Ms Patil was received at the airport by State Governor Narayan Dutt Tiwari, Chief Minster Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, his cabinet colleagues, top civil and police officials.

Later she drove straight to the Raj Bhavan where she will take rest before leaving for Gachibowli Stadium, the main venue of the World Military Games to inaugurate the games.
