Posh's 'pizza cure' for injured hubby

London, March 18 (ANI): Victoria Beckham supported injured hubby David by ordering pizzas to the Mehilainen Clinic in Finland where the ace footie underwent surgery.

Dressed in a black dress and cardigan Posh landed at Heathrow Airport on Tuesday before flying to the Scandinavian country to visit David, who will not be able to play in the World Cup due to his Achilles' tendon injury.

A Volkswagen van with tinted windows picked her from the Turku airport and dropped her at the clinic. The couple were together for the night with local newspapers reporting they ordered pizzas.

"One's family really can help a lot in such situations," the Mirror quoted Orthopaedic surgeon Sakari Orava, as saying.

Orava added: "It's understandable that such a serious injury, which in the worst-case scenario could end one's career, can be depressing and the role of the family is to give support."

It is believed David will return to the field again in six months. (ANI)
