Rio Paralympics 2016: PM Modi conveys best wishes to Indian athletes
New Delhi, Sept 2: The Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday (Aug 1) wished the very best to the Indian athletes representing the country at the Rio 2016 Paralympics, starting from September 07, 2016, as per the government release.

Prime Minister Modi said, "The people of India will be enthusiastically cheering for our athletes representing India at the Rio 2016 Paralympics, starting 7th September."

"We all wish our contingent for the Rio 2016 Paralympics the very best. I am sure our athletes will give their best & make us proud," he further said.
In Rio Paralympics this year, total 17 Indian athletes will take part, including 15 men and 2 women, in 5 events, as per the IANS report.
