PM lauds Dola Bannerjee for winning gold at World Cup

New Delhi, Nov 26: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today congratulated Dola Bannerjee for winning the gold medal at the Archery World Cup.

In a statement, Dr Manmohan Singh lauded Dola Bannerjee for her exploits at the championship. ''Dola has done the nation proud and has become an inspiration for upcoming archers. I wish her the very best in all her future endeavours,'' he said.

Dola had won gold in the women's individual recurve competition at the World Cup in Dubai on November 24 beating Eun Young Choi of Korea 110-109 in a closely fought final.
