'Plumbers called after Bingle's engagement ring gets flushed down the toilet'

Melbourne, March 14 (ANI): Plumbers were called to the luxury Bondi apartment, once shared by Michael Clarke and Lara Bingle, to retrieve the model's 200,000-dollar engagement ring after it was reportedly flushed down the toilet.

Workers from a Sydney plumbing company told The Sun-Herald newspaper they were called to search for an item of "significant value", adding that they believe it was Bingle's diamond ring, reports News.com.au

An employee from Twin Pipes plumbers said they had a call about 2:30 am to the apartment block where the high-profile couple lived reporting "someone had placed something, worth a lot of money, down the toilet."

The plumbers failed on their first attempt to retrieve the ring so came back with specialised camera equipment but still failed to locate the item.

Meanwhile, Clarke and Bingle have been dumped as the 'faces' of an energy drink following their split. (ANI)
