Phoovalan continues in sole lead

Kozhikode, Sep 7 (UNI) P Phoovalan of Tamil Nadu continued his sole lead with 5.5 points when he drew with E P Nirmal of Kerala (5 pts) in the sixth round of the S K Pottekkat FIDE-rated All India Open Chess Tournament-2008 here today.

In the fifth round last night, Phoovalan had emerged sole leader with 5 points beating Debasis Mukherjee (4) of West Bengal.
