Batting first, Patiala batsmen sent the Minor Districts bowlers on a leather hunt. Ravi Inder Singh notched up double century (212) in 279 balls, hitting 22 fours and 4 huge sixes.

He was imperious and played like a champion batsman. Sonu Mandora (68), T.S.Bawa (57), Amitoj Singh (24) and Ankur Jund (25) were the other batsmen to add to Minor Districts misery.

For Minor Districts, Sandeep took 2 wickets, conceding 44 runs, Rahul took 2 for 83. Nakul took 1 wicket, giving away 108 runs.
