Pankaj Adwani wins Billiards title
Kochi, Feb 12: Pankaj Advani won the billiards and Devendra Joshi the snooker title at the 4th PSPB inter-unit Billiards and Snooker tournament, which concluded here on Monday.
In the finals, Pankaj (ONGC) defeated his teammate Dhruv Sitwala in style, winning 931-393.Pankaj's win was capped by a highest break in the tournament of 397. He also had another century break of 199. P Alok Kumar (ONGC) beat Devendre Joshi (BPCL) 296-256 for the third place. In the snooker finals, Devendra Joshi played an exemplary game overcoming a stiff challenge from Alok Kumar 3-1 (35-93, 92-26, 65-35 and 51-42).
For the third place, Aditya Mehta (IOC) beat Pankaj Advani (ONGC) 2-1, (2-83, 87-17, 65-4).
