Pankaj Advani to lock horns with Geet Sethi for title

Bangalore, Jan 21 (UNI) Asian Game Gold medalist Pankaj Advani will lock horns with former World Champion Geet Sethi in the finals of the 73rd Seniors National Billiards Championship scheduled to be held at the Karnataka State Billiards Association here tomorrow.

Earlier, the 21 year-old Pankaj defeated Rupesh Shah 1557-736, while Geet Sethi trounced Dhruv Sitwal 1256-904.

While Pankaj took time to settle till first frame, later he did not look back and stormed into finals to clash with Geet, who ruled the game against Dhruv right from the beginning.

Defending Champion Devendra Joshi had to be satisfied with No eight place in the Championship, even as Ashok Shandilya, B Bhaskar, Alok Kumar were placed fifth, sixth and seventh position respectively.
